DATING!!!

Boy is dating hard. You can read about it or fantasize or even do it. But that wont make you any better at it. You try being yourself and the other person just doesn't understand you. You try being someone else and things just don't seem to work out. Then you try going with the person that you're really not interested in and they end up dumping you because you're not...whatever...enough.

Then it seems like when you're not looking, a bunch of people show up out of no where looking for your love, affection, and attention. Then you're forced with the obligation of making a choice. (Because you cant have your cake and eat it too) But which one do you choose? You know that, statistically, whoever you choose may be gone in three months after you've given it your all and they decided it wasn't enough for them.

Then there's always the unseen things like trust and honesty and loyalty and friendship and blah blah blah blah blah...

So what do we get from all this? You have to decide your purpose for dating in the very beginning. Is this a dating relationship with a purpose or is it just because? Am i dating this person because I see them as a potential lifelong mate? Do I know this person's purpose for dating me?

These are very important questions to ask yourself... Especially when all the people from the past, present, and future start showing up trying to "holla" at you.

I'm going to start talking about dating after high school and how.... interesting it is.

Any comments...?
